Except for the Core-level shifters, the rest of the drivetrain steps up to full Performance spec. At 69.5°, the head angle is steeper — and the steering quicker — than the typical mountain bike. At 1.39 stack-to-reach, the riding position sits at the more upright end for a mountain bike. One of the cheapest mountain bikes on the market in its component class.
